A little bit about me:
I'm addicted to camp. When people say it gets into your blood, they mean it. We are all family.

I'm currently a student at Samford University, studying Biology and Classics. I hope to begin medical school in the fall of 2009.

I believe that there is one true God who gives us all unique abilities, and that it is our responsibility to use those gifts to leave the world a better place than we entered it.

I am most content by a lake, in a hammock, with a good children's book and some Milo's sweet tea.
Favorite memories of Camp ASCCA?
Most of my favorite memories about Camp ASCCA are my favorite memories about life in general. Here are a few...

-Last year, while I was running nature (I LOVE nature!!), Ansley and Maddison came to camp. These two girls have an amazing talent for music, and are simply a joy to be around. In the beginning of the program that day, Holly Stewart and I went into the lab with them, because they could not see the things that their fellow campers were enjoying in the Environmental Center. I brought out a deer's head that someone had had mounted and donated to camp, and Holly and I watched as the girls' faces lit up as they touch and observed the deer. It was a small thing, but it was grand.

-Teen week rocks my face. And my socks. And my world. Three weeks (total) with those campers have brought me some of the most meaningful and memorable conversations of my life.

...more to come....
