- A little bit about me:
- I grew up in Dadeville, on the beautiful Lake Martin. My first Summer 2007 was the time of my life. I had no clue that I would make the very best friends in the world or find my calling in life. Last Summer 2008 I was the Music/Arts&Crafts Program Staff! It was fun being on Program Staff and I made some more amazing friends! This summer I will be the Girl's Head Counselor. This is exciting and I can't wait for the summer to see what is in store! It should be quite a ride! I am super excited about being able to attend Camp again. It definitely has become a very special place for me and I have made some friends that will last a lifetime!!
- Favorite memories of Camp ASCCA?
- I have three favorite memories: At Dadeville I had a camper named Gay(She is in my pic) and she had these light up shoes and she always said, "Look at my shoes dance!" She absolutely lit up my heart! During Christmas weekend I had Savannah South as my camper and we sang "If Your Happy and You Know It" over and over, at the time very annoying but looking back it was a memory in the making!! In 2008 Joe Stewart stole my heart during Sport's Camp! His laugh, smile, and crazy talk made living with the Sport's Camp kids GREAT!!! I can't wait to meet all the new campers this summer!!!
- Has Camp ASCCA had a dramatic impact upon your life? Care to share how?
- Camp has completely changed my life. I am pretty sure the people in my classes are tired of hearing my "Camp" stories. Camp has brought complete joy to my life and has filled any gaps I thought were missing that is for sure. My very best friends are the ones I met at Camp-campers and staff. The first time my Mom visited Camp and saw me in action she was amazed at how patient I was. Before Camp I was extremely impatient. Not that I am completely cured, though. It is amazing how much I LONG for camp when I am not there. Thank goodness my school work keeps me busy and makes the time fly between the summers!

- The University of Alabama....My Junior year is coming to an end. Two more semesters and I will be a Special Education Teacher!!
